Raw Savvy Rescue - Virginia
 Rescue groups are involved in many aspects of feline well-being. In addition to finding adopters for homeless cats, they organize foster care for kittens and adult cats until forever homes for them can be found. They also obtain the release of cats and kittens from overcrowded shelters, foster them and attend to the cats' medical needs. They promote spaying and neutering and work to end animal abuse.
Enlightened rescue groups promote bio-appropriate diets for the animals they place. They work to be sure the animals will have the best chance at healthy and long lives once they leave their care. Listing on the Feline Nutrition Resource Center is not an endorsement.
