 Many people who feed raw diets to their cats and dogs are looking for a way to get a wider variety of fresh meats at a lower cost. A co-op may be the answer. Buying in larger quantities and then distributing among the members, co-ops can make sourcing easier. Some co-ops are small, casual groups of like-minded individuals. Others are large, highly organized groups with a membership fee to participate. Co-ops often use their buying power to source meats directly from farms and ranches, and can offer organic products at lower prices.
